Hinduism Explained-NEPTUNE BARMAN

Hinduism is not a religion. It never was, but it is a geographical identity. People never knew in this land what religion was. People believed in God and had spiritual practices but no religion. The word Hindu itself comes from the river Indus. It is a geographical identity, not a religious identity. It was western culture who gave the idea of religion to the inhabitants of the Indus river. No one has started this particular religion like any other religion in the history of humanity. After the religion people gave rise to the idea of nation. Before there was no India but it was separated into different parts ruled by different kings. People had a diverse culture, diverse language, diverse traditions, still, we find the diversity in India. But due to the approach of western culture, we are losing our diversity which is a threat to us. We prefer western culture because they believe in one god, one culture, one language, we no more feel pride in our culture. If this will continue sooner or later we will lose our identity. We can see the character of people changing with the time which is very dangerous, because if the character is lost then everything is lost. In Hinduism we have millions of gods and goddesses because of the diversity among us, we never emerged as one religion and we cannot. We have different ideas and different views. It`s very difficult to bring the people of India to bring under one umbrella like any other nation because of its diverse culture. And I think the reason behind the invaders, invading India, again and again, is the lack of unity among us. We need to work on uniting the people of India. Hinduism is not a religion, it`s an art of living, the way we live. And if a Muslim bends his body his religion won`t go away. So yoga does not mean Hindu, if yoga means Hindu then relativity means Christian. The discoveries are gifts to humanity not gift to particular religions. The temple we see in India were never made to worship God but to sit and calm yourself. There was science behind the construction of the temple in this culture. Hinduism teaches you to live your life the way you should live. I am not attacking any other religion. Religion means belief, you may believe what you want but remember Hinduism is never about religion it is about how you live. Once you start believing in something conflict starts. That`s how the terrorism started, it`s the belief system that has built the empire of terrorism. Religion does not teach us terrorism but it`s our own idea and belief system that creates conflicts and terrorism starts. Religion has nothing to do with someone else,it`s about you. It has nothing to do on the street. Religion is a way to step inward. But we are trying to organize people in the name of religion. So instead of looking the life from the viewpoint of other start looking at life from the viewpoint of yours and make an inward journey, you will find the answer to your questions.

Assam Flood||Ground Report-DEEPJYOTI DEKA and NEPTUNE BARMAN

Flood has been a major problem of Assam for many years. The reason behind the flood is the lifeline of Assam, Brahmaputra. Millions get displaced, livelihood is lost, lives are lost. Once the floods excessive water was welcomed by the people of Assam because it made land more fertile but now it is leading to disaster. The government is trying hard to fight against the flood year after year. But deforestation and an increase in the number of people living in the bank of the river have made the disaster more dangerous. The flood has hit recently again in 2020 and 23 districts are affected out of 33 districts. Thousands of people are forced to leave their homes and most of them belong to below the poverty line. At the same time landslide has been killing people in Assam. The animals are also majorly affected by the flood and they tried to escape the flood and came out of the forest to the villages and cities as reported in Kaziranga and Baksha. Barpeta has emerged as the worst affected district with nearly 1.33 lakh being affected followed by dhemaji with almost one lakh people and nalbari with more than 96,000 people. Ironically the human also migrated similarly like the animals due to flood. And 21 people lost their lives. Ironically the lifeline of Assam becomes the reason of disaster for thousands year after year. The people are seen protesting against the government for not taking the necessary steps for the flood-affected people. Multidisciplinary nature of environmental studies can help to solve this problem, we cannot solve this problem single-handedly. Every action of humans affects the environment so we cannot stop this but at least we can reduce the effects of the disaster.

Yoga Guru Ramdev Baba`s Patanjali brand has claimed to successfully have made medicine to cure the coronavirus within 7 days on Tuesday. But soon the government banned the advertisement of the medicine on the media. According to the news the medicine contains coronil and swasari. However, the AYUSH ministry(the government) has asked details of the clinical trial and the documents are to be submitted to the government before the medicine is launched and advertised across the country. But for now, the medicine is not available for the people. And the government cannot take any risk during the time of such pandemic and if the medicine really works it would really be the greatest gift of India and Ayurveda to humanity ever.

Fight Against Depression||Join Our Hands-NEPTUNE BARMAN

Each and every one of us no matter which class, race, color, caste we belong to have suffered from this disease sooner or later after we have born on this earth. But who are we to blame for this. Is it somebody sitting outside and controlling us like a toy. No, none has the right to use you as the toy in this world but it`s you who rules you and it`s your fate. Depression has been killing lots of people in the world and it has been a major issue. It`s not that the particular person is suffering more than you and has more problems than you. In this world, everyone has their own problems and they deal with it. There is two way to deal with it either to suffer it or to fight against it and you need to choose the way. And some people give up before dealing with it. It`s true, a life with suffering is worst than being dead but being alive can open up a lot of opportunities for you. Even I have undergone such a situation where I have tried to quit my life but am alive today, I don`t think it`s just my fate but it was my will. My inner voice spoke up at the final moment and I woke up and I said no I cannot end up my life. Today the generation is lacking the will power not because they are brought up wrong but because they are lacking the environment of positivity. Depression is not a disease that is to be blamed to anyone, in reality, no one can be the reason for it. If your death can bring change then if you are alive it could bring many more changes if you have will power. Depression is in your mind that grows like a plant and the more negativity you put to it more it grows, so stop nurturing such negative thought. You suffer for love, you suffer for money, you suffer for power, you suffer for xyz. But in the end, have you realized what matters at the end of your life just you, not what you have accumulated. Just try to be who you are. Just find yourself. Anytime you feel sad just dive inside yourself and ask who you are and you will find answers to all of your questions. You cannot kill this disease by blaming someone but by training up your mind and nurturing positivity in you. Next time you feel that you are suffering from this so-called depression please talk to your best friends, your siblings, people close to your heart, and if no one then contact us. We are always there for you. Let us stand together against Depression.

Coronavirus Assam Updates||Covid-19

Coronavirus has affected the lives of the people of the world including the Assam. Here I am focusing on the status of Assam. The coronavirus has infected more than 5000 people in the Assam and the number of COVID-19 infected people is still increasing. The government has tried its best to handle the situation. They organized quarantine centers for people traveling from different cities. At present, the active cases of COVID-19 are nearly 2000 in Assam. Unfortunately, 9 people lost lives fighting with coronavirus in Assam. Different organizations are seen creating propaganda against the BJP government and criticizing them during the time of pandemic whereas we need to support them. And work together at this time of the pandemic. Various organizations organized protests against various issues during the time of coronavirus pandemic which has made the situation much more worst. And the common people are affected by it. The government has provided traveling facilities for immigrant workers and students stuck across different parts of the country. And the health minister Hemanta Biswha Sharma has taken a vital role in this period of time. I think in this period of time the people should stop criticizing and finding the mistakes of the government and work together to fight against coronavirus. But the reason is the Anti-BJP organizations and political parties need to find an issue for the upcoming election of 2021. But I think humanity is higher than politics. If humans will be alive then only politics can function.

SPECIAL LETTER TO MY FATHER-HIMASRI BARMAN

You are very special to me
Not because of blood relation
Not just of your beautiful face
it's not for all your luxury
and fancy gift for me
it's not for your beautiful dress
it's  not because you take me for the world trip
do you really know
have you ever felt or realized,
how much you are precious to me
maybe you never thought
do you know
I don`t want long life
I want a short life with all full
positive and inspiring work for all
see how you are shocked
your sparkling eyes becoming sad
now I feel your angriness
but still, I love you
because
I always fall in love with your simplicity
I love you as you treat me like a princess
I love you being proud of me
I always fall in love with your craziness
without you
That day I would die surely
I do believe you at most
Every day I do love you more
without you my success and
work has no matters
My world lies inside you
So I would love to celebrate our love and friendship forever
Let the world follow our beautiful
friendship................

International Yoga Day||Yoga-The Art of Living

Yoga means union. The best gift of India to humanity has been the yoga. We can see billions of people practicing yoga across the world, but we can find only a few who are making it a part of their life. Yoga is an art of living not just a posture or action. A yogi is someone who lives his life with the flow of yoga, there is no term as part-time yogi or full-time yogi. On this auspicious day, I would like to wish everyone a happy international yoga day.

Assam Council Decided to introduce Bihu as subject for Higher Secondary Course

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has decided to introduce the Bihu as an elective subject for the higher secondary course from next year. The students opting for the Bihu shall attempt for both theory and practical exam comprising 100 marks. This is a great step taken by the education board and the Bihu committee of Assam. Assamese people shall be happy with this new initiative since we can see most of the organizations are protesting against the government and criticizing them for not caring about Assamese culture and Assamese people. So such steps can make the coming generation feel proud of their identity and represent their identity at the international level. And the government should too provide opportunity to the youth of Assam to represent the culture of Assam in an international platform.
