Assam News-17 June,2020

1.Veer Lachit Sena leader Rantu Paniphukan has criticized the government of Assam and asked Minister Atul Bora, why Jayanta Bora was killed by the Indian army and demanded proper investigation and punishment of the people involved in the incident.(video)

2.Veer Lachit Sena has organized relief camp accompanied by nexus welfare society in Baaghjaan for the people who lost their livelihood. They demanded the government to employ the people of baaghjaan in oil India. (video)


3.United liberation front of Assam has reacted to the incident of the titabor, where a youth named Jayanta bora was killed by the Indian army with the suspect to have been involved in ULFA. ULFA has criticized the government of India and Assam for such incident. And they claimed that there is a history of the Indian army of attacking people without any reason and raping and abusing the women and sisters of Assam. They demanded the proper investigation of the incident and punishment of the people involved in the incident. (video)

4.Tai Ahom Yuva Parisad has organized relief camp in baaghjan. And criticized the government for Assam not taking necessary steps for the people of Baaghjaan. (video)

5.Ajmal Foundation has organized relief camp in Baaghjaan for the people accompanied by AASU and AAMSU.(video)

6.Lurinjyoti Gogoi, General secretary of AASU has been visiting the Baaghjaan and organized relief camp. (video)

7.Badruddin Ajmal, AIUDF leader has reacted to the Baaghjaan oil accident issue. He also claimed that they donated 10 lakh rupees to the people from Ajmal Foundation and organized relief camp for the affected people. (video)

8.Gaurab Gogoi, Congress MP has organized a felicitation program in golaghat and felicitated the students who passed the HSLC exam with flying colors. He also claimed that digital education is very necessary at the present moment. (video)


9.Prafulla Mahanta and Lurinjyoti Gogoi visited the Baaghjaan and reacted to the Baaghjaan oil accident issue. They claimed that this is an issue of Assam not an issue of Baaghjaan and government is responsible for this. And government should take the responsible for the people of baaghjaan. (video)
