Protest in Assam over Land Policy 2020||Report by NEPTUNE BARMAN and DEEPJYOTI DEKA

Recently the protest has been seen raising against the new land policy of the BJP government. Different organizations claimed it as anti-social and against the indigenous people of Assam. They claimed that the government has misused their power and took advantage of the lockdown during the corona pandemic, whereas the voices of people are submerged. Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary commented on the issue that the ordinance will not be applicable for hazardous industries and no industry will be allowed in eco-sensitive zones. And it will mainly help the local entrepreneurs of Assam. So we can also analyze that the problem of unemployment will also be solved. As there will be lots of opportunities for Assamese youths. Ironically people were protesting against the government for unemployment and at the same time today, they are neglecting the opportunities instead of welcoming it. We love our culture, tradition but our tradition and culture need to evolve with time. As time never waits, it changes. We cannot live today as we lived thousands of years back because today we also need some brain along with muscle power. So I think the government is not so fool enough to destroy the economy and culture of the society of Assam. Since the election of Assam is coming on the way so it's the political region due to which the anti-BJP organizations are organizing protests against such policies. We want government jobs, but if we look at the economy of the country. The economy of the country does not run by government jobs single-handedly. So let us look around, we have lots of problems in our society. So if we want to do something we can do lots of work around and earn money. Before organizing protests against an issue first judge yourself if you are right or wrong then attempt to judge someone else. There are many talents in Assam who want to do something in their life but it`s the lack of opportunity that they are suffering from. And the government is trying to give opportunities. We criticize government comparing ourselves to the developed countries and states but why we move back when the government takes a step ahead. Ironically we are acting as the barrier for the development of Assam. Ironically the organizations are seen taking the name of Jati, Mati, and Bheti in the name of movements to protest against the government to gain support from the people. But conflict starts from beliefs and belief is not about coming on streets and protesting it`s about proving your experience. The protest has been going viral on the social media platform across the Assam. Different organizations are seen taking lead in the protest including AASU,AJYCP,Veer Lachit Sena,KMSS,SMSS other regional parties and many other political parties too commented on the issue.
Here are few contents collected from the social media platform that is being shared-

Fight Against Depression||Join Our Hands-NEPTUNE BARMAN

Each and every one of us no matter which class, race, color, caste we belong to have suffered from this disease sooner or later after we have born on this earth. But who are we to blame for this. Is it somebody sitting outside and controlling us like a toy. No, none has the right to use you as the toy in this world but it`s you who rules you and it`s your fate. Depression has been killing lots of people in the world and it has been a major issue. It`s not that the particular person is suffering more than you and has more problems than you. In this world, everyone has their own problems and they deal with it. There is two way to deal with it either to suffer it or to fight against it and you need to choose the way. And some people give up before dealing with it. It`s true, a life with suffering is worst than being dead but being alive can open up a lot of opportunities for you. Even I have undergone such a situation where I have tried to quit my life but am alive today, I don`t think it`s just my fate but it was my will. My inner voice spoke up at the final moment and I woke up and I said no I cannot end up my life. Today the generation is lacking the will power not because they are brought up wrong but because they are lacking the environment of positivity. Depression is not a disease that is to be blamed to anyone, in reality, no one can be the reason for it. If your death can bring change then if you are alive it could bring many more changes if you have will power. Depression is in your mind that grows like a plant and the more negativity you put to it more it grows, so stop nurturing such negative thought. You suffer for love, you suffer for money, you suffer for power, you suffer for xyz. But in the end, have you realized what matters at the end of your life just you, not what you have accumulated. Just try to be who you are. Just find yourself. Anytime you feel sad just dive inside yourself and ask who you are and you will find answers to all of your questions. You cannot kill this disease by blaming someone but by training up your mind and nurturing positivity in you. Next time you feel that you are suffering from this so-called depression please talk to your best friends, your siblings, people close to your heart, and if no one then contact us. We are always there for you. Let us stand together against Depression.

Coronavirus Assam Updates||Covid-19

Coronavirus has affected the lives of the people of the world including the Assam. Here I am focusing on the status of Assam. The coronavirus has infected more than 5000 people in the Assam and the number of COVID-19 infected people is still increasing. The government has tried its best to handle the situation. They organized quarantine centers for people traveling from different cities. At present, the active cases of COVID-19 are nearly 2000 in Assam. Unfortunately, 9 people lost lives fighting with coronavirus in Assam. Different organizations are seen creating propaganda against the BJP government and criticizing them during the time of pandemic whereas we need to support them. And work together at this time of the pandemic. Various organizations organized protests against various issues during the time of coronavirus pandemic which has made the situation much more worst. And the common people are affected by it. The government has provided traveling facilities for immigrant workers and students stuck across different parts of the country. And the health minister Hemanta Biswha Sharma has taken a vital role in this period of time. I think in this period of time the people should stop criticizing and finding the mistakes of the government and work together to fight against coronavirus. But the reason is the Anti-BJP organizations and political parties need to find an issue for the upcoming election of 2021. But I think humanity is higher than politics. If humans will be alive then only politics can function.

Assam Council Decided to introduce Bihu as subject for Higher Secondary Course

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has decided to introduce the Bihu as an elective subject for the higher secondary course from next year. The students opting for the Bihu shall attempt for both theory and practical exam comprising 100 marks. This is a great step taken by the education board and the Bihu committee of Assam. Assamese people shall be happy with this new initiative since we can see most of the organizations are protesting against the government and criticizing them for not caring about Assamese culture and Assamese people. So such steps can make the coming generation feel proud of their identity and represent their identity at the international level. And the government should too provide opportunity to the youth of Assam to represent the culture of Assam in an international platform.
